The role of the Field Sales Representative within the Community Engagement Team is to be the initial ‘face’ of Voneus, representing our brand in your area and introducing our products and services to potential customers located in rural communities, and helping build and support our customer base and pipeline.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for lead generation and sales in a designated area to convert prospects into successful customers via door-to-door engagement.
This is an exciting role where you will be helping to change the connectivity landscape of rural villages and towns, influencing how we engage with communities and where we roll out life-changing gigabit-capable networks to areas with terrible internet connections.

You will be joining an established Community Engagement Team within Voneus, which is unique because we care about our communities, our customers, and each other. This is a tight-knit squad of diverse people, so we are looking for someone who is the right fit: someone who is sales orientated, positive, driven, and likes to get stuck in.
You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, which will include evenings and Saturdays. Also, being field-based will involve regular travel so you must hold a full UK driving license, be comfortable driving in all weather conditions, on all types of roads and over distances, and being away from home occasionally for business meetings or supporting other areas.
Travel time is not included in the 37.5 hours so, ideally, you will live in the Carmarthen area so daily commuting is kept to a minimum.
We are looking for someone who is
A team player, who has a great personality, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic;
Able to work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision;
Goal and target orientated;
Able to communicate effectively and easily, both verbally and written; and,
Knowledgeable in using a CRM, such as Salesforce or Zoho.
Your role will be to
Build relationships with key personnel, residents, and businesses within the community;
Research and evaluate customer needs and desires;
Monitor sales targets and work to meet them individually and as a team;
Support the sales funnel by gathering quality prospect data to convert to customers;
Support the marketing team by obtaining information regarding local and county activities as well as monitoring any competitor activity; and,
Present Voneus and its services at community gatherings, events, and shows where required.
