Position: Senior Fundraising Officer
Location: London, Office based and home based
Salary: £28k to £32k per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week
Duration: Initial one-year contract, subject to six months’ probationary period
Benefits: Employer contribution pension scheme, 31 days’ holiday including bank holidays. Office is in easy walking distance of tube and overland stations.

About the role:
The Senior Fundraising Officer is a new role within in a professional team managing the full spectrum of fundraising, marketing, website and social media activities. The successful candidate will join a marvellous team of six which generates on average £1m per year.
You will develop and manage a growing portfolio of small, medium and large sized charitable trusts, establishing and building relationships through email, telephone, written proposals, progress reports and meetings. You’ll identify, research and cultivate new trusts and grant givers using a variety of prospect research resources. For around 70% of the role you will work in conjunction with the Director of Fundraising & Marketing on all major trusts.
Other key responsibilities will include writing three appeals to individual donors annually and managing the legacy administration.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Fundraising Officer with broad experience of working within fundraising, developing and implementing trusts and corporate proposals/reports, legacy administration, and writing supporter appeals.
