Position: Support Worker
Salary: £17,495 – £19,568 per annum (£9.07 to £10.14 per hour) plus enhancements
Duration: Fixed term until March 2022, with the possibility of it being extended or made permanent.
Hours: 37 per week, full time. It is essential that you are willing and able to be flexible and work on a rota basis over a 24-hour period.

About the Role:
As a Support Worker you will support individuals with all aspects of their day to day living needs. The support our client provides is person-centred and is driven by what their service users require.
You will be working at Watson Road, based in Worksop, this is a long-term service providing housing related support to those with enduring mental health issues. Currently housing four tenants, the large family style house provides a safe, welcoming, and supportive space to allow service users to build on their daily living skills, which could include accessing education, promoting healthy lifestyles, personal care, improving confidence and independence, substance misuse issues, budgeting and debt management – ultimately with the aim of enabling them to move on into independent living within the community and aiding with their recovery.
To be considered for this Support Worker opportunity, you will be proactive, reliable, and passionate about improving the lives of others.
Although training will be provided to ensure you are comfortable with dealing with individuals with varying needs, you must be able to confidently deal with challenging behaviour and be resilient in your approach to work. It is beneficial if you have previous experience although we are willing to train the right individuals with great personal values for these roles.
You will be willing to learn, organise and be adapted to change when working as part of a team to help nurture the service users’ development and independence.
