Early Years Teacher required for 5 mornings a week until July 2024 to teach Foundation 1 class on the Wirral

We are seeking an Early Years Teacher to teach Foundation 1 children in a welcoming primary school on the Wirral. The role is part-time for 5 mornings a week from 8:15am to 12 noon starting 1st February 2024, or as soon as possible after, until the end of the academic year. The school will consider any scale of teacher with early years’ teaching experience.

Your new role
As a Foundation 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, stimulating, fun, and creative lessons, and will also be expected to assess and monitor the progress and development of your pupils, and provide regular feedback to parents and carers. You will work closely with other staff members and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of your pupils. You will also contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in professional development activities.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree Previous experience as an early years teacher A thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive and flexible attitude A commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice A clear enhanced DBS check or a willingness to obtain one
